Hi,
I will buy an used kb, and a Ronald E-96 has been offered to me. Its price: 600 $. I don't know that keyboard, and perhaps someone can report a little about it.
Is it a good keyboard? Is similar to G-600 or G-800? Is it a good price?
For the same price (600 $), is PSR-740 a better option?
Thanks a lot

I suggest u go for a G600 or G800. Both G600 and G800 have 689 sounds and much more drum sets than the E96...sound quality is obviously better. G series = professional. G series have more functions too. The only differences between G600 and G800 are the extra keys and no speaker. I would go for the G600.

The E96 is a nice all around keyboard. It shows lyrics in midi files, has great layout of keys and buttons and has adequate speakers to monitor with. The general sound source is identical to the G series with the exception of some sounds. Most people will not miss what the G1000 offers on top of the standard sound sets. Some will.

The E series has a light action .... more spongy than the G's, and not as much resistance. Better play it first, and make sure it's had a cushy life ..... no one wants to buy problems. Roland keypads are notorious for wearing out ...play EACH note on any used kb before you buy. Inconsistancies are a sign of hard use, and soon-to-be breakdowns !
