Which is the best piano-module I can connect to "my" PSR2000? Cost: less than ca 400 box.

I wonder is it worth it ?? I use the Big Piano Sgid and it is full size and Brilliant but if I play it hooked up ie if I use for example an X1 to drive it, it sounds better than the piano in x1 but it is alot less quality than when played direct. So I am wondering if you could get an old either full size corg sgid or the smaller corg =same number keys as an arranger and use it with your Ps 2000 ie play two keyboards.=Right hand on piano and left on arranger. It is a lovely combination. Old corg pianos about 10 years old are fantastic. Pierce in Ireland

Pierce and Krix,
I also have an X-1. I love the keyboard but I don't like the piano sounds. The Grand Piano is awful. I purchased a used Kurzweil Micropiano from E-bay. The technology is several years old but the piano and electric pianos sound great! You can frequently get a Micropiano on E-bay for around $200 USD. Good luck!

My FAV 'piano module' is the classic 'RealPiano Expander' by GEM (General Music):
http://www.af.lu.se/~fogwall/piano.html

It includes highly impressive 'string resonance', 'damper pedal' and 'key release' physical modeling features. Though this unit is no longer manufactered, I hear that GEM is planning to release an EVEN MORE advanced version of the 'RealPiano Expander' in the near future. Keep your eyes and ears open for it. NAAM 2002?!
