Someone from another town is offering me a good deal on the Roland E-60. Well, I haven't laid my hands on one yet. I'd like to hear any feed back. Cheers.

It's a fine instrument...nice feeling 76-note keyboard, great speakers, lovely sounds, excellent styles.

You can't go wrong.

Hi Telmo

I own a E50 (61 keys) married with a Psr 3000since december 2005.
E50 is a "honest" kbd and you will have fun with one.
You will spent some days making your personal adjustments for styles , voices and effects.
I have an 1 giga compact flash card to store my registrations, styles and songs.
At the end will you have a dependable machine.

i own one.
it is a fine instrument! be warned about it;s size - it is quite wide, if you come from 61 keys. but not that heavy anyway.
the sounds and style are good to very good - a matter of personal taste tho.
go for it, if the deal sounds good financially!

does the E50/60 have a built in mixer. Also wondering if one can mute different style parts easily on the fly?

Yes, the E series has an easy way to mute or solo style tracks. You hit the button on the left of the screen "mixer" and tap it until you see the style part page. Now, you just go to the track you want to mute or solo and touch the screen for "mute" or "solo". It's just that easy.
