Always best to wait if new technology is coming out. You'd kick yourself if you purchased a PSR3000 only to find the newer model is far better as I'm certain it will be. As for it having T2 sounds I'm not sure but it's probably going to borrow a few things/ideas from the T2
Some of the people who own music shops on here will probably tell you more about the new model.

Also whenever the new Psr3100 is released ? the price of the 3000 will plummet so that you will be able to get a great deal on one ...

My (reliable) source advised me that the PSR3100 won't be out till 2007.

If PSR3100 won't be out till 2007,now it's better to buy PSR3000 and sell it off in 2007 when PSR3100 arrives.

If you are going to get a keyboard now whilst waiting for the 3100 (or whatever it is called)to arrive, then it's going to drop in value anyway.

I don't regret buying a 3000; if it blew up now I'd just have to get another. The 3100 would have to be one heck of an upgrade to persuade me to change.

As officially infomed from Yamaha store in my country, there will be NO new PSR to be released until end of 2007.
I really expect to have 3100 (which maybe has some super articulation voices from Tyros 2) but I cannot wait that long. I therefore purchased a PSR-3000 and I really enjoy it :-D

Don't discount Roland. Why not wait for the E50/E60 from Roland? They should be out either July or August. I am anxious to upgrade as well, so I will definitely demo one. The guitar function sounds intriquing (possibly a step at putting arrpegiator functionality into an arranger). Late 2007 for a PSR3100 is a bummer.
