I am considering adding a Korg PA50 to my PSR3000, so would be interested in any PRO's & CON's of the PA50 from your point of view after you have managed some sleep..Ha!!!!

Congratulations Sunny!

I know the PA50 is a great machine, and it will provide you with many many sleepless nights
The only thing I can recommend is... stock up on coffee and start sleeping more during the day

again congratulations and enjoy your new toy.

cheers,

ccdmax

Every comment is subjective, which is a good thing for keyboard makers. My opinion of the PA50 is mixed:

- good sounds
- good sounding styles
- nice access panel features
- good speakers
- large screen
- editing features

- keys suspect (mine starting sticking)
- style loading was slow (at least for me)
- glitches in style timing
- 61 keys
- got boring

Overall, not appealing enough for me to keep.

MY OPINION ONLY

Hi, congrats in your PA50, I perform in my 2 boards, teh PSR 3000 and my PA60....a great combination....of course, I customized both to my style of playing, and the people seems to enjoy it, I am getting book for 2007 now...in certain styles I use more the PA and in others the 3000.
So, enjoy and if you have any questions, just email me I'll be happy to help you anyway I can.

the best, by a mile in this price range.
an absolute winner in combination with e.g.
a Yamaha PSR 3000.
Failed to understand Zuki's views here, I mean one can get bored with anything but his drawbacks, subjective that goes without saying, seem to be very small compared to even his list of advantages.

Donny,
I was almost "offended"for you not mentioning me, but from all your postings I have deducted you are still largely in the dark as to what to purchase. I gather you are still hanging on to the one PSR3000 ?
do yourself a favour and get the PA-50 on top. It is a relatively minor investment and if it does not work out at all you can easily get rid of it without losing hundreds of dollars !!!
My opinion of course for what it is worth, but well intended !!
regards,
john
