Hi everyone,

I have to change my KB in the next days and i do need your help .

With your kb , when you select a style, choose some sounds(programs)for some tracks, tweak a correct level for each track and then go to tape it in the SEQ:

Do you hear the same levels you have previously selected for each track OR does your SEQ. put your Drums and ACC. tracks at maximum level, that is 127 !
I just can't play in such big noise, may be good for Hard Rock but what about Ballads..

A person of Korg told me IT'S NORMAL, the PA80 put these tracks(Drums,ACC) at maxi level , there is no other way to use the SEQ !!!!

INGREDIBLE ! I can't believe that

How is it with your KB ?

I do need your answers to choose which other KB i get in Exchange .

Thanks from Korgy, or Yamy, or Tekni ..

Hi

I own the G-1000. There is no any unwanted noise from it's outputs, even if I pump up all levels to maximum of 127. Level from line output then still stays below 0 db and perfect clean. I think this is fact of the architecture.

I tried MANY of arranger keyboards and I would highly recommend you some of Roland dolls (VA, G or EM series). I love their ear-friendly sound, output quality, reliability and great price, of course.

Good Luck

Adnan,

On my Technics keyboard (KN5000), I DO hear the SAME levels that I had previously selected for each track when I record to the KN5000's sequencer. The sequencer does NOT change the volume level settings of either the recorded sequence or auto accomp parts.

BTW, You can EASILY delete your 'duplicate' posts by clicking on the 'pencil with paper' icon which appears at the top of your posting thread. CHECK the 'delete box' at the top left corner, fill in your username & password, and then click the SUBMIT NOW button. - Scott

Hi Korgy,

Don't know where that Korg person got the idea that some levels jumping to 127 is normal. I've never had this happen with my Korg i30.

Happy hunting,
Big Red

DanO?,George?,DonM?,Dave?
any other pa80 user?
this does sound like a strange way of doing things.
I am very interested in pa80 but I am not interested in needless hassels!
is this a completed OS or a beta in progress?

Sorry, I didn't keep the PA-80 long enough to learn everything about it. I found the style creator easy to use, but I didn't even try the sequencer.
In my opinion, the sounds and styles are great. The Mic input and processors sound great. The sequencers play midi files very well, even recognized .kar files. The vocal harmonizer is very limited.
