Ever since seeing the very cool setup demo of the Beacon BEA-3000 I've been determined to obtain one of these for an audition. I finally got hold of a sales person at one of their retailers who is also a musician. He strongly sugested that the unit is great for PA speaking, but probably not for music.

Too bad, that set-up demo really is slick. Now if we could only get Gary to design that kind of fold-up modification for the Bose.

I'm working on Glenn! Just need some more time in the day. Maybe this winter when sailing season ends.

Cheers,

Gary

Glenn: Sorry to hear the truth about the beacon it did look REALLY cool.

I was at an event this weekend where the DJ had the Bose. One column and two subs. It was great. Very clear sounding, loud enough to fill the loud but with clarity so people could still talk and not be drowned out by the music.
