Yes, yes!! I was wondering if anybody has figured out a way to modify a cable to fit the sampler input jack on the back of the Ax60? I really would like to be able to filter external sounds through it's filter.

Hello Snoopy,
I still use this synth once in a while to create strange effects, and I do this very often by using the old S 612 sampler connected to the sampler input. It works great, you can also use the arpeggio of the ax60 to steer the sampler at the same time.
I don't know what you mean with modify??
Or do you need a cable???

What I mean by "mod" is if you can some how take the cord that fits the sampler input of the AX-60 and make the other end of it a 1/4" jack so I could plug it into another synth instead of the akais s900 (since I don't own one, especially since I have gigasampler)? Finding the actual cord is going to be a bit of a problem.

Ok, I see what you want to do, well no idea or another synth can understand the signals fro the AX 60, but the cable is no problem.
The cable used for the Roland GK-2A midi guitar pickups into the roland GI-10 , is the same cord.(the reason I know his, is that I have them both..)
You will have to modify one end of the cable, though and nobody knows or it works.
There's f.i. another output on the AX 60 synth for sending arpeggio to other gear, but that is a positive 7 volt signal, while it should be a negative 7 volt signal to get it working, so no idea.
But the idea is interesting.
Let me know if it works,
Fred
