Hi everyone,

I'm still trying to get used to being without many great features the 740 had that aren't on the 740.

In teh meantime, can anyone help me with the problem in the title of this post? I have zero experience with editing voices. The 740 flute sounds a lot more "windier" or "throatier". I'm not sure how to make the 2100 one sound like that...

TIA

Philip

Phillip,

Everything in the 2100 is adjustable, and while I'm no expert by any means, I did find this bit of information from Will Stewart quite useful. It may also be of some assistance to you as well. After more than a year of using the 2000, which is almost identical to the 2100, I'm still discovering things about this incredible keyboard. Here's Will's email to DNJ.

Press the MIXING CONSOLE button, make sure the display shows CH 1 - 8, if not press this button repeatedly until it does.
Press the BACK/NEXT button to highlight EFFECTS
Press the C button to highlight REVERB
If you want to adjust track 5 use the #5 buttons below the screen to set the required amount.
After you have made any alterations, you need to save them, to do that
Press TOP to take song back to the start
Press the DIGITAL RECORD button
Then A .. SONG CREATOR
Press the NEXT button to highlight CHANNEL
Press B until SET UP is highlighted
Press D .. EXECUTE
A notice will show when this has completed
Press I to SAVE
Press 6 lower and rename if required.

Sound complicated but after you've done it a few times you don't have to think about it.
You can use this procedure to change any parameter on the 2000.

Hope this is of some assistance,

Gary
