Donny's great post directing us to sites with chords for songs, plus Scott's post about patriotic songs, prompted me to get off my butt and get back into playing something, just to get on with my life as the terrorists surely do Not want us to do.

So I fooled around with some different chord changes for, "America, the Beautiful", and wound up with this rendition complete with "SweetVoice!" sax lead. Audio links are below -- the hi-fi link (first one) may not work for a day or two since that is how IUMA (my music website provider) works; it activates the lo-fi (second) link right away since it's only 16 kbps, but takes a while longer to get the 128 kbps hi-fi version up and running:

Strictly for your listening enjoyment, for those of us who need a little patriotic lift about now.

Thanks for dropping in!
