I have a question. It seems you have to move the split point all the way OFF the keyboard so you can play the whole thing with one instrument like piano. So when I am doing that, how am I supposed to use the start stop buttons? They apparently only work from the left of the split point.

Also I used to be able to layer two sounds together over the whole thing, and the split point didn't really matter. you chose the chord recognition to be either lower (left of the split point), upper (right of the split point, or Full (3 notes making a chord anywhere on the keyboard. Isn't this possible in the SD1?

justforfun000,

>>>AJ: You can leave the SPLIT point as it is and press the PIANIST button. This renders the whole keyboard playable with the same sounds. You can further add on the arranger by using the KEYSTART button.

>>>AJ: This you can accomplish using the 2nd vioce feature. Turning this on enables you to use a 2nd voice (which you can edit) to add onto the current lead voice.

>>>AJ: Chord recognition is either to the LEFT of the split point(PIANIST=OFF) or the entire keyboard (PIANIST=ON) of the SD1.

Thanks very much. Ketron_AJ

Quick question. Are you able to change the snares in a style, or specifically add more reverb to them while your playing an arrangement? Little tweaks like that could be handy.
