Hi all,
I'm interested in the Korg PA1XPro. Can the PA1XPro record wav-files to the internal harddrive and then burn them to an audio CD? Has it got multitrack audio recording or only the sequencer?
Best regards,
Christian

hi christian, the answer is no, it can only record MP3 files, no multitrack audio recording, the only wav recording you can do is via the sampler..
hope that helps

Hi,
Many thanks for your reply!
So, you can record MP3 files of what you are playing and burn them as a data CD?
Best regards and thanks,
Christian

Send the MP3 to the computer and convert it to wav using the MP3 2 Wav Program and then burn to CD.
I found out yesterday they also make a MP3 to Midi converter. that info is in the Technics forum

Hi, yes you can record MP3 and Midi. But you must have the optional CDRW or you can record in HD.

hey chris, that is correct, it will record everything including the vocal(which also includes all your vocal settings eg reverb delay pitch correction voice modelling whatever!!) the recording rate is 192k so quality is good although there are 3 different settings. This is assuming you have the hard drive installed. To burn the cd you need the cd drive with operating system v2.00, or alternatively just hook up to PC via USB and download to your PC for further work or conversion to wav or whatever. When i do this i usually record each thing seperately so i have a seperate audio track of each instrument for mixing and mastering on PC. hope that helps.

Hi Dennis and all others,
THanks for that info! I am eventually going to buy a PA1XPro but just wanted to be sure. I have plaied it a few times and I really like the sounds, and the guitars are awsome! The new styles which I have seen are available for mthe korgpa.com website, are they the same high quality as the included styles?
Best regards and thanks,
Christian

Actually, some of them are better, IMHO.

I downloaded the Style Set 9 from there, and some of the Styles are really nice. The Intros and Outros are really convincing.
