Uncle Dave,

Dear UncleDave;

What Keyboard(s) are you using to play the demos on your webpage? And which vocal harmoizer is used for the song "A Nightingale sang"?

PS----Are you still using an external pre-amp for your PAS. Any new tips or upgardes?

Regards;
BN

You will find a very interesting BOSE forum here: http://bose.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x/a/cfrm/f/9706048934

I've used mine on 4 gigs so far and it is unlike any other amp/speaker system I have ever used. There is definitely a learning curve to using it.

Dear Btweengigs;

I have looked at the Bose PAS as well, but I am concerned about augmentation or degradation of stereo samples from keyboards by using the mono PAS. I have seen arguments for both sides of the mono & stereo reproduction, and I am not totally convinced.
Maybe you have some incite?

BN....
I am very new to the Bose concept and still learning how best to use it in live performance. Running mono is a non-issue for me. I play a variety of large, small and odd shaped venues where stereo does not add any value to my performances.

The whole PAS concept is so different from the conventional systems that it takes some getting used to. But, the bottom line is:
I have had no complaints about being too loud from those closest to the speakers...or complaints from those in the back of the rooms I play saying they couldn't hear.

There are plenty of questions and answers about the PAS and they are being asked and answered over on the Bose forum I posted.

Eddie

Sorry about the need to scroll right and left
to read this thread. I think my posting of the Bose Forum link did it.
