As many of us here have web sites, I don't believe this is OT.

Today I received the following email about my web site. I have not clicked on any links. I don't quite know what to do on this one.

Following this email is another web site issue that concerns me. Any input on this appreciated.

Email Subject: link exchange - we linked your website - need feedback

Hello,
I represent the website which at this moment is building a high quality Visual Art Online Resource.
And I'd like to inform you that we have recently created referential link to your website http://scottlmusic.com/ as to very valuable site for our online users.
You can see it on the page http://www.gallery-worldwide.com/temporary/link/223/supply_more.html#180265
Right now, the link is in our temporary directory 'Art Supplies'.
And I need your feedback and permission to move it from that temporary private directory to our permanent and public one.
If the directory is not good enough for your site, check out our link directories -http://www.gallery-worldwide.com/links.html. And let me know about better choice.

Send your feedback and permission to linkexchange@gallery-worldwide.net

Please, consider also creating reciprocal link to us.

Title: Fine Art Gallery
(if you need more details visit page http://www.gallery-worldwide.com/link_to_us.html)

Thanks,
Luba Dein www.gallery-worldwide.com

If you do a Google search on me, Scott Langholff, besides finding my web site and some links to various keyboard forums, there are a number of links to mp3 sites that are using my name to get people there, some say "This site may harm your computer."

Some show a start of a SynthZone post and it has been used to sell different things like insurance for example. I mentioned this a while back but no one seemed to have a good fix on this. Maybe there isn't.

Advise please.

Scott

Just ignore it if you don't want to participate. They may string you along then offer to sell you a better spot on their links.

I get these sorts of emails each day but I just ignore them. That is all you can do.
