I have a music store and I sell the SD1 and the Genesys. Both have great sounds and styles, the Genesys has 61 keys with or without speakers the SD1 has 76 keys without speakers. The Genesys has a CD burner/Reader which the SD1 does not have and the entire operating system, voices and styles can be changed by inserting a CD and loading the new system as they become available. Both keyboards have 64 voice polyphony with 16 or 32 track sequencers. The Genesys sequencer is much easier to use and has more editing capablilities then the SD1. You will find those with the SD1 that love their sounds and styles better and the same with the Genesys owners. It really is a matter of personal taste. Both keyboards are sold at similar prices but the Genesys might be a bit higher because of a few more stock features which adds to the cost. If you have any specific questions please ask.
