it doesnt seem the 9000 pro is worth an extra $1,500 although it has lots more sounds . any comments? Its hard for me to find these boards in the boonies.

Stay with the newest model, Tyros. It does offer more in many areas. There is a reason it has become so much in demand. I have to say, If money will allow go to the top of the line, Tyros. Six months from today, the dollar difference will not matter.
