thanks all,
Been trying to take advice and try before i buy. I have had a bad case of GAS and have made some mistakes in the cheaper is not always better category. I would like to purchase a board with features that will have some longevity. Keyboard feel is important to me because it makes it a pleasure to play, the psr 2000 did not feel like a "real instrument" . I do not play midi files when performing (unless they are backups i compose or samples, sound effects etc. so a good keyboard feel makes a difference. The old saying is true " that sounds kinda like a hammond" but nothing is like the real thing. I really liked the feature list on the psr 9000 compared to the 2000&21000 so i decided to get info on one of those. Looking for opinions on the tyros compared to the 9000 and pro . Yes keyboard weight is important, I've been lugging aroun an ensoniq ZR 76 (which is a great board!!) and i really would like a more portable instrument. I am interested in the styles and arranger functions and the sequencer and storage functions sound great for composition.
