No. The Tyros 2 drums are in another league; some kits (the best ones, those labeled "live!") are sampled in real stereo and this makes a huge difference, not only with the 3000. One can argue if Ketron has better drums for Dance, Hip Hop or Techno, but there is no doubt that, if you are into jazz or jazz-latin stuff, the crispness and the clarity of the T2 drums (especially the cymbals) is difficult to beat.
Same thing for the piano: please, try and find a Tyros 2 to demo and you will see your doubts melt like snow in the sun.
