Hey Dreamer
Of course it helps a lot!
Seems like you know very well both machines. Tell me, the bases in Tyros2 are weak also? Well, in Motif ES i donīt lke them too (i used to be a bass player, so Iīm very picky with this) Any way, the Basses in Tyros2 are as weak as in PSR3K?
Piano: It differs much from Motif ES? I liked this piano for live playing. The PSR piano is a joke,is phasey, in mono almost desapears and doesnīt change the color with velocity. (OK, OK, I have a very heavy touch...)
And last but donīt least, percussion: I love all the percussion from motif like brazilian hand drums, congas, and several other gadgets. Some of this are in PSR, but sound so sterile. The drums in PSR are awful and weak.
And as I said, I like the arranger concept: Is easier to layer sounds, the registrations for the songs is very practical. I donīt use auto chords very much, but they are great for study and quick ideas, so Iīm sold with arrangers. I only have experience with Yamaha keyboards, but heard some others: PA1X, SD1 (not bad at all), PA80... Never touched them, but doesnīt ringed as good or practical as Yamaha
I must admit that I prefer better emulations of acoustic sounds. I use a lot of excelent libraries of samples with much sucess, but is almost impossible carry all this stuff in a laptop without a serius crash sometime. So the reliability of a dedicated hardware synth is so important to me.
Please share a little more detail, if you can, please?
And anybody else opinion is very important to me.
Thanks a lot for your Help!
Regards
Jose Pereira
PS To all, please excuse my poor english!!
