I also suggest you keep the 6500. It's a great keyboard. So is the 7000 - it's awesome. But for those of us who use our keyboards at home just for self-entertainment, the 6500 is sufficient. I know...I moved up from the 6500 to the 7000.
I love the 7000, but I could be happy with the 6500 too. It's gonna take me another year to grow into the 7000.
