I, too, own a KN6500 and recently checked out the KN7000 at the music store where I buy my keyboards. IMO, the differences between the two keyboards are not enough to warrant a change or the added expense of the new keyboard. The owner of the store also told me to keep the KN6500 and wait for the next model. I think Technics made the SD operation far more complicated than it needs to be. Looks like a real pain! I'm hoping that maybe the next model will have a CD read/write system in it. That would make it really nice and better than the KN7000. I agree with Willem in that you should just sit back and wait for the next model. If you had an older model, then it would probably be worth the investment in getting the KN7000.
