Behringer is a company known for designing affordable clones. Behringer gear offers exceptional value to starting musicians on a budget.

The Behringer Truth B2031A studio monitors are a clone of the Genelec 1031A studio monitors.
At $219 each, they are unbeatable.

Behringer surprised everyone at NAMM 2025 demoing their prototype BX1 synth. It will be released in 2026.

They fused a Yamaha DX-1 with a Yamaha CS-80.

The BX-1 retains the same user interface as the DX-1 with additional analog filters and envelopes from the CS-80.

Luigi Scarano and Damien Egan from Behringer gave a brief overview.

I applaud Behringer’s efforts in reviving the legendary DX-1 and CS-80 vintage synths which otherwise would be out of reach for most.

I wonder the market disruptions they would cause if they ever decide to build an Arranger Clone.

Imagine fusing the Yamaha Genos2, Korg Pa5X and Ketron Event into an affordable package.
