So, the boilerplate answer to someone saying a Ketron sounds bad is to reply that it will sound better if YOU play it… (of course, you got to buy one first to do that! 💵💵💵)

Which kind of begs the question… can’t Ketron afford a GOOD player (hopefully one even better than the criticizer!) to demo it? Because if all the problems the listener brings up disappear when played by a good player, that’s not exactly good marketing to hire a bad player to demo it, is it?

BTW, on another thread over at the main forum, I did EXACTLY what AJ wanted, gave exact times of the issues in a demo, and haven’t heard word one about it. So, I wouldn’t waste your time, Mr G.

The truth is, this isn’t a hater of Ketron site. This is a hater of bad arrangers forum. No matter the brand. And if, unfortunately, Ketron seems to come under greater scrutiny than most, perhaps that’s a problem with the product, not the listener. Perhaps Sokratis and AJ didn’t notice the Audya in Mr G’s gear list, but it very much seems like here is a criticism from someone who could NEVER be accused of sheer prejudice.

That his criticism is met with the same dumb responses shows just how boilerplate they are.
