It is so interesting that for centuries it was left up to if you could produce children to continue the Gene pool. If you could not , it was usually blamed on the female of the pair to be at fault. This of course was not usually the case in less than half.
Then things were left to technology to decide who was male and who was female - X and Y chromosomes etc. and I guess DND was too but I am only guessing. But mostly it was easy to work out xx or xy. Simple.
Now it seems that sociology is the next ticket to have a bet on to see who is who and what is what. But now we have ventured into a different territory for those who solely relied on Science to tell up what or who was who. Things are more complicated than the way we used to think.
So much change in this last century that most of us can't keep up to understand what is fact or not.
The good thing is we are still learning and most have an open mind, but there are still dangers with labeling anyone these days. Either the current correct label for what the individual wants or a Scientific one which may be correct but not accepted.
Most people to be honest are still on catchup and honestly don't know what to do.
