It is determined by facts.
These facts concern various biological facts, not just one:
- chromosomes
- biologically rooted sex awareness of the hypothalamus
- genitals and organs
- hormonal status.
Even if all of these criteria sum up to an unambiguous sex for most people, they do not in all cases.
Nobody can judge a person‘s sex just by seeing them and „feeling“ the person is male or female. Many ignorants suggest this is possible, and your perception about a person’s sex is an unfallible instinct. This is total BS.
