This arrangement without drums gives more room for your singing, basically this is called "you know what you're doing" :-)

My relationship with arrangers got complicated about 5-7 years ago, I used to be more sure about what is right and what is wrong, and today I'm more uncertain. I mean, playing with styles seemed to be so much better than playing without them, music without drums seemed to be unfinished, and buying a new model of an arranger promised a guaranteed inspiration.

I guess, if we keep just adding, adding and adding, getting more and more power, more details, more resolution, more data, we risk to lose the initial idea about why we started in the first place.

The irony is that after saying all these things I have thoughts in my mind like "well, okay, perhaps I should have only basics and start to be creative, but I still need to get Genos just to be completely sure that I do not actually need it"... and this is how corruption begins.... :-)
