Actually, I view myself as an independent contractor, no different than the guy I hired to redo our bathroom. I was not a servant to anyone, and never will be, well maybe other than my wife of 57 years. I'm the boss of my family and I have my wife's permission to say so!

I was hired as an independent contractor to do a job - to entertain the audiences in front of me, I did the job, here's your invoice, thank you very much and I hope to see you again next month.
