LOL - The owner was a fan of live music, and had several bars that featured bands. This one was a bone he threw to me .... just to see if anything would happen. I didn't play for the dancers - they were not on when I was. It wasn't a total loss, but as you might imagine, it didn't hit a home run either (play on words - the name of the bar was the BALLPARK). Regular patrons were not interested in what I did .... they wanted the girls. Put this in the "paying my dues" column of my career path!
