Though I was more impressed by Chuck Berry,Jerry Lee Lewis etc. all of them were great artists and due to my age ( born in 1951) I missed all of the rock and roll haydays, unfortunately.
(although UK singer Cliff Richard who came along in 1958 and has been going on until today, still performing full concerts ) made up for that loss in my instance..)

Forty years ago, 1980 that is, I recorded Tutti Frutti in my living room with the aid of a Sony tape-deck, an electric guitar and a track from the so-called DrumDrop L.P.s which I am sure the elder among you will recall. ( there were five of them each containing 15 different drumtracks played by an L.A. professional drummer). So you had to play along with the drummer so to speak rather than the other way round. Oh and not being a solo guitar player it took me hours to concoct something vaguely resembling a guitar solo. hahaha, those were the days !!!!
