I just got a new computer: Dell Dimension 8200; Pentium 4, 1.8 gigahertz, 512megbytes Ram & 40 gig HD running Windows XP home version. It also includes parallel port.

I need to know if the Technics KN5000 hard drive backup and data management software 'TechManager5000' will run under Windows XP home edition. This is a brand new model computer so I assume that it's parallel port supports bi-directional data transfer as required by 'TechManager5000'.

Input from people who have had experience running 'TechManager5000' under Windows XP will be greatly appreciated.
