Maybe it's just the choice of registrations or maybe it's just the player, but I was grossly under-impressed with the (Hammond) sounds of the SKX. I do agree with bill about having sustain on the bass pedals. I don't remember the exact number but I think I paid about $5-600 to add that (aftermarket) feature to my old C3. That was a lot of money back then. In summary though, this would not be my first choice in a organ-oriented keyboard. This is based strictly on my impression of the overall SOUND of the instrument. JMO.

good points chas......seeing him reach and search underneath the yamaha for drawbars is whay I hate a double tier setup...so annoying and in the way of my playing and singing....I'm a single kb man !!
at least we agree on the SKX now I can eliminate it from my list ..lol
