Hi ,
well, was told on Yamaha forum, that’s the way yamaha looping pads do work, unless the stop button is pressed subsequent pads just get added.

Had a couple of suggestions on the forum which included stop pads.
Ended up with a mix of their suggestions and my own .

What I ended up doing was splitting up the Piano Arp 8 Beat Multi Pad by copying each of the Pads to button 1 ie pad 1 position 1 delete the other 3 and save. Pad 2 position 1 , delete the other 3 etc.
Ended up with 4 single multi pads.

Then saved each one to to a different registration memory and muted the piano track.

Also set sync start to the multi pad before saving to the registration. This way new Multi-pad only kicks in after playing chord in left hand.

Bit messy, but I was hoping to create a few piano pads to audition with some of the factory styles .

It was easier on the korg, but at least it is a possibility.

Love those registrations.
