Hi ,
thought I’d better get in early and wish everyone a Merry Christmas just in case I don’t get a chance tomorrow.

At this stage waiting to see if our son and in-laws can make it for Xmas. Supposed to becoming tomorrow, but we have terrible fires on the east coast of Australia at the moment.

We’ve had smoke for the last 3 weeks and temperatures reaching over 100 deg. Can’t complain fires have been burning for 3 months and only just starting to affect us recently.
So many people have lost their homes , and the poor animals, doesn’t bear thinking.

We’re reasonably safe we’re not near bush land , worst that could happen is grass fires out in the back paddocks.

Never seen anything quite like it, fire after fire stretching over 100’s of miles.

Anyway, it’s great being able to take one’s mind off things, with the keyboards and the forums. Watching the tv news is just too heartbreaking.
