If the 121 had a 5pin midi port, it'd be a different story, but for now, if the sounds are all coming from the Yamaha speakers, it'll be just like a stacked midi rig. Have fun! actually there may be a way around the missing 5 pin midi port, something to do with the iPad or phone and software. Read about it on Yamaha forum, if it works great, if I misunderstood, no big deal, I bought it knowing it didn’t have the 5 pin port, and I can always buy some sort of little box if I have to.
At the rate I’m going, maybe not haha. The shop is still waiting on my piano pedals and stand. I don’t want to have to pay extra shipping to get individual bits of my order sent.
They did me a great deal because I was getting everything shipped together.
Should have ordered piano earlier haha.
