Charley, I know that feeling for sure. I'm thinking it was not related to the lightening, but I'm certainly not a doctor.
I had A-fib in the hospital after my open heart surgery,
Then, a year and a half ago, I had V-fib, which is way worse. They put in a defibrulator/pacemaker. They didn't know why it happened but they said this would save my life if it happened again, and that I had dodged a real bullet.
My heart seems to be in very good shape right now, mostly thanks to a medicine called Entresto. It has made a huge difference.
I'm saying a prayer for you for a quick and complete recovery.
