that strikes me about every two weeks hit again tonight. Today, I went to my boat to winterize the engine, water systems and air conditioning system, all of which would suffer severely if the temperature drops well below freezing. It took everything this 78-year-old had to do the tasks, which took about 4 hours.

Winterizing the boat is akin, IMO, to burying an old friend. I hate this job and so wish I were in the Islands right now and basking in 80 degree temperatures and watching the coconut palms sway in the trade winds. But, alas, I'm stuck in the People's republic of Maryland this winter.

With this in mind, I sat down at the PSR-S950 and recorded this song, one that I have always loved since I was just 18 years old when it first came out. I have to work on the balance between the vocals and backing, but that's a job for tomorrow.
