Hi Tony , and Granpa .
I'm not saying Granpa is wrong regarding wd40 .
I know tony , you love your kn6000 , electrical parts and electronic components can be very different . Heed this warning !!! get expert advice !!!
Many years ago I ruined the switches on my Roland drum machine unit (I forget the model number but it was the "business "
I had problems with a few sticking push buttons and I sprayed a some electrical spray cleaner (similar to wd 40 ) and it ruined the switches .
I took the unit to Rolands UK H.Q service dept and the engineer,
said that the switch contacts were made of a composite membrane and the solvent ruined about 8 switches which all had to be replaced .
The engineer said "I wish people would not spray cleaning solvents on specialist equipment without first getting the advice of the manufacture's service dept .
I hope it all goes well for you .
Keep making great Music !!!
regards ......to you and your great City of New York .
Giovanni
