I play every Labor day, and have never had a thematic set list. In fact, most of those suggestions in your original post would be sure fire party killers at my venues. I've found that Labor day isn't as celebrated (musically) as Memorial day. I'll say it again ... you gotta get another hobby bud. You sit home, and think too much.
