I've been thrown from the back of a horse a couple times, decided getting back on was not a smart thing to do. I always thought that was a dumb saying, and a lot of rodeo riders I knew felt the same way.
I once knew a guy that married the same woman three times - I guess he sided with DNJ's old saying. He's still paying for those mistakes.
