Hi Ken,

I had an KN6000 and I traded it for a PR54 piano. If you go to http://www.technics.com and look at the specs for both the KN2600 and the PR54 they are very close to the same. I can tell you the the PR54 has very good sound. The instruments are basicly the same as the KN7000 and many of the Styles are the same as the KN2600.

I beleive that you can not go wrong with either the KN2600 or the KN7000 but I would check the manual of the 2600 to see if it says it will play KN7000 disks. The PR54 does and it as made the instrument so much better because there are a lot of styles and songs available for the KN7000 and many of the features are the same.

But as Lloyd said if it's the KN7000 you really want then don't buy the KN2600. They are both great instruments but the KN7000 is top dog (for now).
