Bill, you're correct in that you can't stop the (auto) updates, but you can PAUSE them for 35 days. However, you can't do a second or subsequent 'pause' until you do the updates. Uninstalling the culprit seems to be the only recourse. Of course it gets reinstalled at the next update smile smile. Oh well, I'm too old to switch to MAC at this point smile.
