I have in the past bought brand new models as soon as possible after release. No more though. All the companies seem to release them and then wait to see what mistakes they made.
The PA4X had the fewest problems, but it still had some. Yamaha generally has very few problems because they change very little. Genos may be a slight exception since the changes are larger.
