I would also like to see a top notch native softsynth that didn't rely on 3rd party modules or vsts. Several attempts were made, including the start of a 3rd party programmer to develop one as a exra cost option, but it never got off the ground. For technical people accustomed to configuring their sounds with vsts etc., it wouldn't be as appealing as the mainstream players, but not having to carry an SD2 or SD1000, is a big plus. The present softsynth is okay, but not, IMO, top grade.
