Dedicated organ players/buyers want all of their sounds generated by the organ (they want 'organ' brass, not synthesized or sampled brass, no matter how realistic the latter).

I believe today's organs will take advantage of modern technology to overcome the shortcomings of the older instruments, but at their core and in terms of functionality, they will remain in the organ tradition. JMO.

You should read into the main European home organ companies...

Wersi is fully samplebased... Its the most advanced arranger in the world, with build in VST effects and huge DSP power.. Same goes for Bohm and the new Bemore brands... All these organs are in general two manuall arrangers with pedals that can both function as a traditionall organ as well as an arranger.. Or even as a DP... These are allready the high end multifunction instruments i think would fullfill my wishes... Lots of organ power with even native support for hauptwerk... But also pianoteq... Next to organs, to many organ players orchestrall sounds in every nature are very important..

There is a huge difference, and has allways been, between the US and EU organ markets... The US organ market is doing its 4th revival of the Hammond B3... I dont think there is much home organ market left in the US... Overhere in europe, i can see how many older people are moving back from keyboards to modern versions of home organs...

I really think the only thing that keeps many homeplayers from buying a home organ is the price...
