If these kind of sounds you need and it is just at home or studio, why even bother with any of these workstations? VSTs are at least 100x better for strings or orchestra sounds. Workstation keyboards don't even come close.
I know there is a hustle setting up everything, but you do it once and you are set for a long time.
i have a Tyros 5 and a Kronos and a whole plethora of VStīs that i barely use these days, because most of the time i just want to sit down and make music..
And you are wrong, Tyros5 and Kronos come pretty close to the quallity of most VSTīs. Close enough not to notice the difference.
The same would probably go for the Yamaha Montage..
