And most of all, because you guys in this forum are just the greatest!

Mike, that one touched me, especially from a guy from brokklyn. ha ha

No contest, the KN7000. I have played professionaly with Technics keyboards since the KN1000. I have owned every new keyboard since the KN1000.
Reasins for the KN7000

1-It's great to look at. ha ha
2-It has a SD memory card. I would buy it just for this reason alone.
I have always carried a mini disk player for songs I do not play myself. Songs that I could no justice to. Now there is no need for the mini disk player, all the songs, mostly audio, are on the SD memory card.
3-Loading time is much faster.
4-No searching for a disk.
5-I can have hundreds of songs instead of the limited amount the diskettes hold.
6-The keys have a better feel.
7-Intermissiom music is now played using my keyboard in song play mode. I can put the lid/cover down and play the songs, and it looks great.
8-Mike, some have compared the sounds and rythms of both instruments to help make a choice. I think of a keyboard as one thought, and the KN7000 is much BETTER.
9-At home, I use the KN7000 as my entertainment center. I get to play my sequences, and the sequences of the generous people on this forum. Life is good.
10-It will pay for itself. You will play better---perform better with the extras--and that means more jobs/gigs/dollars.

Take care Mike, John C.

PS, I was born in Brooklyn. Moved to Queens when I was nine years old.
