Temporary means just that. It doesn't always do it. When it does, I can usually get out of it by either initialising the keyboard or switching off and then on again.
I have also taken note of when this happens and it is usually after I have been using another person's setup where they had used the sequencer or, I had used an old preloaded floppy where the sequencer had also been used. Also some midi files seem to have the same affect on the tempo wheel. Both my keyboards are v.3 and I know from this Forum that there are later versions to be had. Later versions of course, are produced to deal with problems so maybe this particular problem has been dealt with in a later version. You could try asking Technics Player, he is an expert on the keyboard's technology and may well know the answer.
