As I indicated, my estimate of the requirement of a 128MB SD card as being about optimum for my usage was based on my storage of files for the 6000. This took into account the fact that I only save those files for required for a particular song. Sometimes it is only sound memories or pads. Other times it may include all of the standard files saved using Page 1 + Midi Settings and All Custom Styles. If one were to save all possible parameters for every song file you would need a card bigger than 512MB to save 99 folders each with 20 songs.
Yes it is a valid approach to start with a small card and see how it goes but I feel it is equally valid to look at your individual usage to determine the optimum size card. On Australian prices 128MB SD cards are somewhat cheaper per MB than the smaller cards.
