Well you can do it either way, or both ways, with this one. The keyboard is better than the one on my old Acer Inspire, plus you can use the touch screen if it's easier for some things, either with the keyboard attached or unattached.
I am still in process of customizing everything to suit my needs, which includes deleting a lot of programs and apps that were installed when I got it.
It even came with MS Office 13 installed. I've been using Open Office for a few years, but this newer version of MS Office is really improved over some of the old versions. Plus, it finally reads ODT files, so I don't have to convert anything I did using that format in Open Office.
I have more than 4,000 files on my Micro SD drive, and have only used a small portion of it. This includes lyrics, MP3s, midi files, new styles to try when I get a chance, and backups for my current Korg arranger and also for, Yamaha, Ketron and Roland keyboards (ya never know, right?). All the backups include registrations, lyrics, etc.
For example I could go see Gary in Florida this winter and just plug into USB and play. Or Diki's Roland BK9, or AJ's Audya.
My original point of the thread is that all this information and MUCH more can fit on a little drive smaller than a quarter.
