Just curious. Are these monitors to be used for mixing down recordings?

With the studio that I had, I had the best luck actually mixing down with headphones...relatively good ones.

That said, I have about four sounds systems now...couldn't be called monitors though...JBL 515XT, Bose Compacts, Tyros 4 system came with the keyboard and now the HK Nano 300.

My favorite, so far for just playing at home for a full sound is the Nano 300. And the nice thing is, like Fran said, then I can tweak for performances.

Also, the Bose Compacts make for a nice home sound too but pricey for two.
